The SRX (SOFT RUSSIAN), manufactured by PLAY since 2005, is the first Russian Style Ball on the market that keeps the common features of this kind of ball (dead drop, easy foot/body catches, lightness) while providing a truly unique shell softness. The SRX is partially filled with 100 grams of very thin quartz sand.

The SRX is the first Russian Style Ball on the market that keeps the common features of a Russian style ball (dead drop, easy foot/body catches, lightness) while also providing a uniquely soft shell. It is partially filled with 100 grams of very thin quartz sand. The sand provides the typical Russian ball’s behavior with a weight concentration in a smaller volume. Play’s SRX Juggling Ball (Soft Russian) shell has a MATTE finish which makes them less “sticky” and therefore more suitable for a wider range of juggling techniques.
